Zhenming Film Company (1951)

WARNING: This video is loud, please turn down your speakers or take off your headphones before clicking the link on it.

Nicknames: "The most boring Nightmare logo ever", "Mom, a bombastic fanfare was put on my copy of Blood-stained Azaleas!"

Logo: Not really a logo. Just some in-credit Cantonese text, which translates to "Zhenming Film Company presents a Grandview Film Company Limited production" on a black background. We fade to the opening credits.

FX/SFX: None, except the text fading to the opening credits.

Cheesy Factor: The text is ugly, it's also hard to see due to the darkness, meaning film distortion, also, the music is nothing what is going on here, also, it can make people's ears bleed, because it's very loud, also meaning film distortion!

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie, which is a sample from Aaron Copland's Buckaroo Holiday, with is from Rodeo.

Availability: See Background.

Scare Factor: Low to nightmare, unsuggesting that the logo was superimposed on a film's opening credits, which can surprise many. The text is hard to read and look ugly, but most of all the bombastic music that plays. However, some may consider this cheap and is probably intentional.
