Background: Many home video companies placed these bumpers at the beginning of VHS tapes to remind the viewer about adjusting the tracking feature on their VCR for the best quality. When auto-tracking became the standard in the late 90's, these bumpers ceased to be used.

Bumper: On a black background, we see the blue text "FOR THE BEST PICTURE QUALITY. PLEASE ADJUST THE TRACKING KNOB ON YOUR VIDEO CASSETTE RECORDER. THIS CASSETTE IS RECORDED IN EXTENDED PLAY MODE."

Variant: On the 2006 VHS of If The World Were A Village, the background is blue, and the text are in white.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Just a man reading the message. On Sony Wonder releases, the different announcer is heard. On later GoodTimes releases from 1998 to 2005, it is silent.

Availability: Rare. It can be found on some releases by Sony Music, Sony Wonder, GoodTimes Entertainment and other companies. The version with a different announcer only appeared on the 2006 VHS of If The World Were A Village and the 2002 VHS of The Best Mariachi In The World.

Scare Factor: Low.
