Logo: In an outer space background, we see the planet Earth fly in from the bottom left corner of the screen while rotating. While this happens, we see a large chunk of metal/stone fly in while flipping vertically. Afterwards, we see another piece from the left corner of the first chunk emerge and then attach itself to the first chunk to form a large U. After they attach, the background suddenly turns white and the U turns blue along with the globe and has a registered trademark symbol(®) on its side. The word UNIVERSAL, in blue, appear letter by letter (a la the 4th [http://www.closinglogos.com/page/PolyGram+Video+%28UK%29 PolyGram Video] logo) and RECORDS,also in blue, go up from the bottom of the screen.
