Background: Transmundo Home Video was the Argentinan distributor of Cannon Films and Virgin Vision. Later on, it had become Transeuropa Home Video.

Nicknames: "The Globe", "Argentina's HTV"

Logo: On a space background, a gold galaxy slowly zooms in as a photo of the Earth flies in an arc over to the screen. As it settles, the text "THV", in the same exact font as HTV's logo, but with the first two letters switched and the "T" being longer, flies in over the Earth, along with an outline of it on the bottom. Both of them "flip" into place and the text "TRANSMUNDO HOME VIDEO S.A." flies over onto the bottom right of the picture.

FX/SFX: The flying globe, text, and letters.

Cheesy Factor: One of the less cheesy logos from the late 80's in Argentina, but it still is pretty cheesy with the dated movement and music. But the logo being basically an exact copy of the HTV logo is really what takes the cake. At least, though, they were a bit creative other than stealing the logo altogether to avoid copyright.

Music/Sounds: A whoosh, followed by a catchy synth-keyboard tune. Later on, it has been replaced with a different, more droning synth tune.

Availability: Can be seen on Argentinan prints of The Brave Little Toaster and Silent Night, Deadly Night.

Scare Factor: Low to medium. The sudden movements and music may get to some, but you'll probably be laughing at the logo theft.
