Background: Thomas-Spelling Productions was the first television production company of Aaron Spelling formed in 1966 in association with actor/comedian, Danny Thomas, ending the partnership in 1973 after The Mod Squad ended.

Nickname: "The Thomas/Spelling Emblem"

Logo: On a navy blue background, there is an emblem that features a red shield outlined in yellow with yellow curled ribboning and an outlined eagle on top of the emblem with the words: "Thomas/Spelling" with a diagonal ribbon line separating the names inside the shield and a yellow arched banner with an arched word "PRODUCTIONS" in red.

FX/SFX: On Rango, the sudden zooming-in effect. None on The Guns of Will Sonnett.

Music/Sounds:

  • On Rango, a regal trumpet fanfare was used.
  • On The Guns of Will Sonnett, the closing theme was used.

Availability: Rare. It was seen on Rango years ago and currently on DVD releases of The Guns of Will Sonnett.
