Background: The Weinstein Company Home Entertainment was formed by The Weinstein Company to release their films on DVD. From 2005 to 2009, their releases were distributed by Genius Products, whose assets were later sold to Vivendi Entertainment in 2009 after their bankruptcy. From 2009 to 2010, Vivendi Entertainment distributed The Weinstein Company's releases. In February 2010, The Weinstein Company made a deal with Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions to release their DVDs and Blu-rays through Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (during which time Blu-ray distribution rights for older TWC titles were handed to Vivendi Entertainment, as well as newer Dragon Dynasty titles). However, after The Weinstein Company bought a 25% stake in Liberty Media's Starz Media in January 2011, their DVD and Blu-ray releases from April until their 2017 dissolution were distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment.

Nickname: "The Three Bottom Lights"
Logo: Against a black background, a bluish light forms, and three bluish triangles come in from the top, bottom left, and bottom right, joining together in the middle to form The Weinstein Company logo. "THE WEINSTEIN COMPANY" in Chisel Thin Wide, a line, and "HOME ENTERTAINMENT" in Trajan Pro appears below. The light then returns and the text segue into obscurity as the 3 triangles go out of sight. Afterwards, the words "COMING SOON TO THEATERS", "COMING SOON TO DVD" or "NOW AVAILABLE ON DVD" zoom out letter-by-letter.
Variants:
- On titles without previews, DVDs with anti-smoking PSAs, and the Canadian DVD of The Reef, the logo fades out after forming.
- On DVDs with trailers and anti-smoking PSAs, as soon as the trailer/PSA is over, the logo begins with the triangles going out of sight.
- On the 2010 Blu-ray of Fanboys, the logo fades out after the triangles fly away.
- On HD-DVDs and most Blu-rays, as well as some Genius-era and Anchor Bay-era DVDs, the logo returns to the standard grey color in the movie logo once it's done. This variant appears in the standard 1.85:1 widescreen and 2.35:1 cropped widescreen formats. On titles with this variant, the clip-ons appear larger.
FX/SFX: CGI.
Music/Sounds: Same as the movie logo, with whooshes and a cymbal crash at the end.
Music/Sounds Variants:
- On TWC's earliest releases, such as Derailed, Hoodwinked, and Doogal, as well as the 2007 DVDs of Standing Still and The Reef, only one flute and the violin are heard.
- On the Fanboys variant, the whooshes are heard in part.
Availability: Common. Appears on many Weinstein Company DVDs and Blu-rays (regardless of distributor; this follows the distributor logo in most cases), as well as on Blu-rays from the latter era.
- Notable releases with this logo include Derailed, Mrs. Henderson Presents, both Hoodwinked! films, Doogal, Lucky Number Slevin, Scary Movie 4, Clerks II, The Thief and the Cobbler, Chestnut: Hero of Central Park, Prey, School for Scoundrels, The Reef, Bobby, Arthur and the Invisibles, Slingshot, The Nanny Diaries, I Want Someone to Eat Cheese with, Dedication, The Great Debaters, The Promotion, Sold Out: A Threevening with Kevin Smith, Scream 4, Lawless, Outlaw Brothers, Escape From Planet Earth, Saving Santa, Dark Skies, The Hateful Eight, and 3 Generations (the final TWC release).
- It doesn't appear on the Arc Entertainment DVD of Little Gobie, despite its text print logo being shown on the artwork.
