Background: The Neverhood was the production company of Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel, founded in 1996 after he left Shiny Entertainment. After the failure of Boombots, the studio faced bankruptcy in 1999 as this company was converted into a TV studio and went defunct in 2004. However, Neverhood employees Mike Dietz and Ed Schofield revived the studio as Pencil Test Studios in 2009.
