1st Logo (December 12, 1952-April 24, 1959)

Nickname: "The Hong Kong MGM Lion"

Logo: On a cloudy background, we see a statue of the lion roaring, a la MGM. Behind it, there is the name of the company in Chinese, which translates to "SUN LUEN FILM COMPANY".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A superbly bombastic fanfare with many instruments and trumpets.

Sunlen

2nd Logo (June 5, 1960-February 2, 1980)

Nicknames: "The Hong Kong NBC Peacock", "The Bombastic Fanfare, Peacock, Chinese Text, and the Darkness from Hell", "The Hong Kong Peacock of Doom", "Overseas Chinese's Brother"

Logo: We see a green-toned peacock statue (a la NBC) set on a black background fading in. Soonly after, the two Chinese characters appear, which translates to "SUN LUEN" (all painted in red, with green lights). Over it, the text fades in which translates to "FILM COMPANY" (With the color being the same as the text "SUN LUEN")

FX/SFX: The peacock and the Chinese characters fading in.

Music/Sounds: Same as the first logo.

Availability: Seen on their films of the time, such as The Magic Thief, The Long Voyage Home and the Rollick Mariage.
