Background[]
RatPac Entertainment is a motion picture financing company/production company formed by filmmaker Brett Ratner and billionaire James Packer. The company merged with Dune Entertainment, which became a co-financing partner with Warner Bros., following the expiration of their contract with Legendary Pictures. The name eventually became RatPac-Dune Entertainment, which is a company in-name only; the company is credited on movies as RatPac Entertainment. In late 2017, Brett Ratner was fired from the company after a laundry list of sexual abuse charges were revealed. In 2017, Access Entertainment bought Packer's controlling stake in the company.

Logo: A burst of light occurs in the center, emitting blue-gray rays. The camera spins toward the center, spinning the rays until they form two solid beams adjacent to each other. The two solid beams then spin around to reveal two solid objects. The camera stops spinning and the objects then center into place. One of the objects is a right triangle, while the other object seems to be half of a rounded rectangle with the lower left corner cut to fit the right triangle on the bottom. The text fades in, and the logo zooms back a bit & shines.
Variant:
- There is a version where the company name is omitted.
- Starting with Run All Night, it is enhanced.
- At the end of Mad Max: Fury Road, the normal version is still.
Byline: Starting with Dunkirk, "An Access Entertainment Company" is seen at the bottom.
Sub-Variants:
- At the end of Dunkirk, it is still.
- On Geostorm, the textless version is used with the byline fading in at the end before fading out.
- On the theatrical release of Justice League, the normal version is used with the byline below the text.
FX/SFX: CGI.
Music/Sounds: A suspenseful percussion tune with a synth orchestra in the background.
Music/Sounds Variants:
- Sometimes, it has the opening theme playing over it.
- On The LEGO Batman Movie, the movie's opening theme of plays over it as the sounds that represent the logo's formation is heard while Batman narrates over it: "Hmmm. Not sure what RatPac does, but that logo is macho. When it fade out, he said "I dig it."
Availability: First appeared on Edge of Tomorrow, and has since continued to appear on RatPac productions (except those where only the in-credit text is seen.) before making its final appearance on Rampage. On the home video release of Justice League, this is plastered with the Access Entertainment logo, likely due to Brett Ratner's sexual allegations.
Scare Factor: None to minimal. The music may make some anxious, but it's a great logo. However, it may also annoy some, due to it appearing on almost every Warner Bros. movie from 2014 to 2018.
