Closing Logo Group

Background: Prabhat Film Company (प्रभात फिल्म कंपनी) was an Indian film production company and film studios founded in 1929 by the noted film director V. Shantaram and his friends. They didn't use a logo until 1932.



Prabhat Film Company (1932-1949)

Logo: On a grey sunburst background, a girl with a white dress is seen standing on top of a monument with a shringa (Sanskrit for "horn"). She then raises the shringa and blows on it.

FX/SFX: Live-action.

Music/Sounds: A somber melody made by a shringa with a sitar.

Music/Sounds Variant: The closing variant uses a rearrangement of this melody, which would be used on the opening of the movies produced by the company from 1945 to 1949.

Availability: Seen on several films from Prabhat from 1932 to 1949. A few examples are Aage Badho (March Ahead), Gopal Krishna, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Hum EK Hai, and, Duniya Na Mane (The Unexpected). The last film release was Sant Janna Bai. These movies can be found on YouTube.
