1st Logo (October 15, 1982)[]

Logo: On a green sunburst background, the text
PICTURES
zoom in to the center of the logo.
FX/SFX: The fading and the zoom out.
Music/Sounds: A 4-note trumpet fanfare. The last two notes are held.

2nd Logo (December 16, 1983-June 12, 1987)[]

Logo: On a black background with curved lines, the letters "P", "N", and "R" appear randomly, in purple and yellow. Then the letters appear one-by-one flashing purple, yellow, and red as the logo cuts to a moving light background. Finally, the text "PNR" and "Pictures" appear one-by-one twice before stopping and flashing various colors.
Trivia: The background was stolen from the 1977 film adaptation of Dean Koontz's Demon Seed.
Variant: There's a short/abridged variant. It's also brownish.
FX/SFX: The flashing letter on top of a science fiction-esque background.
Music/Sounds: A majestic trumpet fanfare, as well as a few gunshots and a bit of a synthesized compose at the beginning.
