1st Logo (1980s-1990s)[]

Logo: On a black background, many triangular shapes of different sizes rotate and slide in. The camera pans over them as they settle into a backwards, segmented "N", with the negative space being occupied by corresponding shapes. The camera then pans up to reveal the logo again, but in gold and facing forwards. Below it is "NATIONAL AMUSEMENTS" stacked while "FEATURE PRESENTATION" fades in below.

Variant: One that has "Coming Attractions" exists.

FX/SFX: The shapes sliding in, the camera panning.

Music/Sounds: A proud synth fanfare.

Availability: Extinct in theaters.

Scare Factor: Minimal.          

2nd Logo (1990s-Early 2000s)[]

Logo: TBA.

Variant: One that has "Coming Attractions" exists.

FX/SFX: Anything, for once. These were top-notch CGI effects for the time.

Music/Sounds: Depending on the variant:

  • A seinfeld-escue synth theme with comedic effects. The whole thing ends in a rather epic way at the end of it.
  • A Madonna-like generic synth theme.

Availability:Extinct in theaters.

Scare Factor:Depending on the variant:

  • Minimal to medium for the first variant, mainly due to the music.
  • None for the second variant. Much better than the first variant.

3rd Logo (Early 2000's-2011)[]

National Amusements 2000s FP

Nickname: Dots/Lights 

Logo: On a black background, we see a light flashing into the center, which takes place at the blue/orange space warp background with two white dots, the dots start appearing by one. Then it goes really faster like a crescendo, and it rotates to the right, with the blur lines, it forms the big N, The word "NATIONAL AMUSEMENTS" appears, and then the word "FEATURE PRESENTATION" fades in below. The logo shines with blur lines, and it fades out.

Variant: One that has "Coming Attractions" exists.

FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: See Logo 1. Rather basic CGI effects.

Music/Sounds: The train-like noise, as the light flashes, a furtistic synth theme with space sounds, The projector sfx, loud whooshing sounds, and the french horn plays as the logo appears.

Availability: Extinct in theaters. The ident first surfaced on a bootleg copy of Step Up 2: The Streets online, recorded from a camcorder in presumably an NA-owned theater. This bumper was also appeared on films in theaters, such as Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Curious George (2006), Slither, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Everyone's Hero, Charlotte's Web (2006), Arthur and the Invisibles, Norbit, Meet the Robinsons, Spider-Man 3, Ratatouille, Step Up 2: The Streets, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Where the Wild Things Are, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, How to Train Your Dragon, and Toy Story 3 (one of the last films to use this bumper).

Scare Factor: Low.

Final Note: National Amusements still exists, but their theater output is focused on their Showcase brand.
