(1982-1985)[]
Logo: In a rocky landscape, we see a bubbly pool of water. We zoom in on it and a dragon statue rises and rotates. The dragon shoots fire as we fade to a red background with a black abstract MAV and the name fades in below.
FX/SFX: The dragon, which appears to be live action.
Music/Sounds: A descending synth drone with a gong hit and a uprising synth drone. The fireball is not even close through coming out of the dragon statue's mouth. The video quality is also pretty blurry, probably due to a tape error.
Availability: Rare. Seen on the 1980's VHS releases of many martial arts films, such as Swordsman with an Umbrella, Thousand Mile Escort, The True Game of Death, Death Mask of the Ninja, Tiger's Claw, Blind Fist of Bruce, and Tough Guy.
Legacy: The dragon, music, and the fireball can scare quite a lot of viewers. This may very well be one of the scariest home video logos ever made. Though yet again, it's lower to those used to it, and is also another favourite to some.
