Lumen Entertainment is an American Christian studio founded by Brian Shields in Jacksonville, Florida, USA in 2003. They are an apostolate dedicated to spreading the Catholic Faith through the art of motion pictures. They make films (live action as well as animated) for both catechesis and entertainment. They also have a yearly Film Camp in the summer for high school and college students.
Their most notable work is on the Altar Gang series; more specifically, Skiff & AJ’s Fantastic Voyage, produced in 2012, and released in 2013, which featured a team of artists who worked on Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie (2002) for Big Idea Entertainment, Curious George (2006) for Universal Pictures, and two Pixar Animation Studios movies directed by Brad Bird for The Walt Disney Company, namely The Incredibles (2004) and Ratatouille (2007).
