Background: King Hu Film Productions is a short-lived Hong Kong film production company founded in the early 1970's by a director King Hu. The company only produced two movies.

1st Logo (1973)

King Hu Film Productions (1973)

Nicknames: "The Martial Arts Logo", "The Ugly Chinese Font", "There Are Seals Next To The Chinese Font!", "What Could've Been The Ancient Chinese Writing", "The Logo That Is Mostly Void of Effort"

Logo: On a red background, we see a white rectangle (or a paper?) with a Chinese text below it (which translates to King Hu Film Productions (in black) presents (in red)). There are seals, which there are next to the chinese font. We cut to the opening credits.

FX/SFX: None.

Cheesy Factor: The Chinese font is ugly, and there's no need to put these seals next to it!

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Only seen on The Fate of Lee Khan.

Scare Factor: Medium. The ugly font and the music will unsettle some. Believe it or not, the next logo is only worse...

2nd Logo (1975)

King Hu Film Productions (1975)

Nicknames: "The Martial Arts Logo II", "The Ugly Chinese Font Again, But With Its English Translation", "The Scary English Script of Doom", "Well, At Least There Are No Seals", "Did I Just Waste 9 Seconds For This?", "The English Script Made By A 5-Year-Old", "Did The 5-Year-Old Made This?!", "The Consolation When You Think You Have Made Something Wrong And The Logo That is Entirely Void of Effort", "The Chinese Music from Hell", "The Hong Kong Personification of All That is Ugly and Scary", "Feng Huang and Zhenming's Even Scarier Cousin"

Logo: On a black background, we see a Chinese text (in an ancient Chinese font) and its English translation in orange. Unlike the last logo, there are no seals. We cut to the opening credits.

FX/SFX: None.

Cheesy Factor: Why did they put an ugly text under the Chinese text? At least they didn't put these seals unlike the last logo.

Music/Sounds: The gong crash is heard at the beginning, and the Chinese-like tympani hits are heard. When we cut to the opening credits, the opening theme of the movie is heard.

Availability: Only seen on The Valiant Ones.

Scare Factor: Medium to nightmare. The ugly fonts combined with the scary music will scare some people.
