Background: Gold Circle Films is an American independent film production company, mainly focusing on horror and romance films, founded in 2000.

Nicknames: "Zooming Ring", "Gold Ring"

Logo: On a black background, we see a golden ring with the words "Gold Circle Films" underneath it zoom in. The logo shines and its animation loops until it fades out.

Variants:

  • On the U.S. release of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, part of the shining is looped to match the length of the 1998 Lions Gate Films logo (Seen on international prints).
  • On Jimmy Glick in Lalawood, a match lights up at the bottom-right corner. Then, Jimmy breathes a puff of smoke, in which it zooms forward while it forms the ring. The text fades in as usual.
  • On Because I Said So, after the shining completes, instead of fading out it slides out to the left.

Music/Sounds: None, or the opening theme of the film.

Music/Sounds Variant: On the DVD print of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the PAL-pitched version of the 1998 Lions Gate Films' fanfare is heard.

Availability: Seen on films, such as Double Whammy (the first film to use this logo), The Man From Elysian Fields, The Badge Sonny, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Wedding Date, White Noise 1 & 2, Slither, Because I Said SoGriffin & Phoenix, New in Town, The Fourth Kind, The New Daughter (the last film to use this logo). Some of their produced films, such as Life and As We Know It, omits it.

Nicknames: "Gold Ring II"

Logo: The white light appears on the side of the darkened ring glows in as the camera zooms toward it. The ring than lightens up to reveal the golden ring as before but without the glowing effect, as the camera goes around it. The camera sets place on the ring as the white spotlight turns on behind it to cast the ring's shadow. The text:

in the same font of the "Gold Circle" text of the previous logo, but w/o glowing effect, fades in.

FX/SFX: CGI.

Music/Sounds: The shining sound.

Music/Sounds Variant: On Pitch Perfect 3, the building-up of the opening song, which starts on the second Perfect World Pictures logo, continues into this logo.
