Background: In 1983, Filmways Distribution teamed up with Video Classics to form its own home video label, named Filmways Home Video. In 1984, Filmways left Video Classics, and partnered with Video Tape Center to form a joint venture Filmways VTC, which the Australian arm of K-TEL Video distributed these titles. In 1985, VTC left the venture and reverted to its Filmways Home Video name, and later on, K-TEL Video quickly went defunct and Vestron Video took over distribution of its titles. In 1986, it was renamed to Filmpac Home Video.
