Closing Logo Group

Not to be confused with Cinematown.

1st Logo (Early 1990’s)[]

Logo: We start by zooming through a starfield for a short amount of time before going towards a grid area, with a grid at the top and bottom. Then, the "CNE" and "Cinetown" logo zoom in towards us individually. We then fly through a field of multicoloured squares (red, blue, pink, yellow, etc.). Then, after a green square zooms towards us, we are transported to a different location; that being where we find a clear blue ball and all the continents placing itself on the ball, forming the Earth. We also see the CNE logo zoom out as it does so. Then, it zooms back in and stops in front of the globe as "CINETOWN" sandwiched between 2 lines slides in from the right. Then, some Korean text appears at the top of "CINETOWN". Then, a white gradient wipes through the Korean text. The logo then fades out.

FX/SFX: Everything, in rather decent CGI.

Music/Sounds: A pop synth theme.

Availability: Seen on their tapes.

Editor's Note: This logo looks a lot different compared to many other South Korean VHS logos, mainly because the logo doesn't look as bad as many other Korean VHS logos. Aside from that, it looks very excessive, busy and trippy (on par with Kanaal 2's 1995 opening and Tele Monte Carlo's 1973 logo), and the animation, although not bad for its time, looks dated by today's standards.

2nd Logo (Mid-Late 1990s)[]
