NOTE: Not to be confused with Carey Home Video (UK).

Carrey Video (1980s-c

Nicknames: "Ominous C", "Creepy Video", "Cheesy Video", "Cheaply Video", "The Greek Knockoff Logo", "Carrey Vidi-hoax"

Logo: On a black background, we see a white italic C in a blocky font. There's another C, which has the same looks of the white one, but blue, that zooms in from behind the logo and turns it blue. It plays out like the Carey Home Video logo, except instead, the text "carrey video" in a medieval font fades in below.

FX/SFX: The C zooming in & materializing and the text fading.

Music/Sounds: An ominous tune plays, with a creepy-sounding chorus singing the company's name and a big synth finish. These are followed by descending and ascending synth sounds. This is also followed by a spooky synth brass tune that repeats in different pitch scales at the end.

Availability: Extremely rare. So far, this is only known to appear at the end of a Greek-dubbed VHS of Sport-Billy. May be seen on some old Greek tapes from the period.

Editor's Note: This logo is infamous amongst the logo community for outright stealing the logo and name of another company, Carey Home Video, except theirs contains an extra "r" in "Carey" and an entirely different soundtrack.
