(1990-1998)

Carolco Home Video

Logo: Same as the 1988 Carolco logo, except the byline "HOME VIDEO" fades in below.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1988 Carolco logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1988 Carolco logo.

Music/Sounds Variant: At the end of the 1997 DVS VHS of Basic Instinct, the narrator is still reading the closing credits over this and the "Exclusively Distributed by" version of the LIVE Home Video still logo (which made their surprise appearance). The narrator describes both logos at the very end of the tape.

Availability: Seen on Carolco releases of the period, starting with Music Box and including Mountains of the Moon, Total Recall, Narrow Margin, Terminator 2: Judgement Day (Including the 1998 Artisan VHS and the 2000 Canadian Alliance Atlantis VHS), The Doors (Including the 1995 VHS reissue alongside the 1994 LIVE Entertainment logo), Universal Soldier and Basic Instinct. Also appeared on Seven Arts releases distributed by New Line Cinema, including King of New York and Rambling Rose. This, along with the Live Home Video "Exclusively Distributed By" variant, appears on the promotional trailer for the Special Edition of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which in turn can be found on its Ultimate Edition DVD. The label itself ended around 1993 with LIVE Entertainment taking over release duties. This logo made a surprise appearance on the 2000 Canadian Alliance Atlantis VHS of Basic Instinct (with strangely the IVE Warning screen at the end of the tape). Their print logo was still being used into the Live Entertainment days on releases even after Carolco went defunct and would be phased out when Live became Artisan (with copyrights going under Canal).
