Background: BRON Studios is a motion picture company founded in 2010 by Brenda Gilbert and Aaron L. Gilbert and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 2012, the company launched a subsidiary called BRON Animation lead by Gil Rimmer and Ben Burden Smith as creative directors. The division's projects include three Mighty Mighty Monsters specials and The Willoughbys for Netflix. Sometime also around in 2012, BRON also launched a Releasing division which controls distribution rights for live-action and animated film productions, operating in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. In 2016, BRON Media and Creative Wealth Media formed a joint venture, BRON Creative, to fund films. The venture's first film was Fences, released by Paramount Pictures. In September 2017, BRON Studios was reorganized with BRON Media Corporation becoming the former's parent company, with the Releasing and Animation divisions also joining the studio as BRON Media subsidiaries. In 2018, another unit, BRON Venture, was founded, which is a media and entertainment equity fund manager investing globally in a diversified portfolio across the Content, Services and Infrastructure sectors. In December 2018, BRON Creative and Warner Bros. Pictures agreed to a six film slate deal with $100 million in co-financing. BRON Creative agreed to another $100 million co-financing slate deal with MGM in June 2019.

(November 19, 2010?-December 3, 2011)

Logo: On a black background, we see the bold, blocky word "BRON" in shadow mode with a gray-yellowish light behind as it squishes and zooms out in three-dimensional. The word then situates on a black floor with a faint, gray light (looks a bit like an asphalt texture) as it slowly zooms out. A yellow-tinted spotlight coming from the right behind quickly then flies over the letters with its shadows bending in response to the light. Another light then wipes in, revealing the BRON logo in a faint yellowish color. The logo slowly keeps zooming out until it fades out.

FX/SFX: The animation of the text, the lights, and the zooming out. Simple, but decent animation for the time.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Only known to appear on Foreverland. It was also possibly seen on Paradox and Jabberwock.

Editor's Note: None.

(April 20, 2013, September 11, 2015-October 7, 2016)

Logo: We see the word "BRON" in the same yellowish color from the last logo on a dark gray background, but the color is a little more prominent here and "STUDIOS" is now seen underneath and spaced out to fit the width of "BRON". A lens flare then shines on the bottom tip of the "O" from behind, going slightly down to the middle point until it fades out. The logo slowly zooms in while all of this is happening.

Variant: At the end of I Saw the Light, we see just the text in gold on a black background. On The Birth of a Nation, we see the same animation, but the print logo is used instead, the color looks faint (similar to the previous logo), there is no lens flares, and the background is more noticeably brighter.

FX/SFX: The text zooming in and the lens flare shining. The same thing is used for The Birth of a Nation variant, but entirely different, as described above. On I Saw the Light, none.

Music/Sounds: Same as the last logo. None for the variants, though.

Availability: The animated version is only known to appear on Trust Me. The first variant is seen at the end of I Saw the Light and the second variant is seen on The Birth of a Nation.

(2014-2015?)

Logo: We see a bucket pouring lava in a metallic golden factory-like area while the lava transfers into a slide-like thing, and as the camera zooms out, we see more lava being transferred in other areas, similar to waterfalls. The entire thing then encloses into a rectangle on a black background, as it appears to form the word "BRON" from the last two logos. A golden glow then shines on the logo as it transforms into a yellow, glowing-like rectangle with the word carved into it. Then, the word "STUDIOS", in 3D and in the same font from the last logo, zooms back and positions underneath "BRON". After a few seconds, we then fade out.

FX/SFX: Very good CGI, and a big improvement over the last two logos.

Music/Sounds: We hear the sounds of gears turning and metal clanging, ending with a majestic-like fanfare when the logo forms.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on films such as Welcome to Me, Into the Forest, Meadowland, The Driftless Area, Tumbledown, among others.

Editor's Note: None.

(December 15, 2016-)

Logo: On a black-gray background, we see a backlight illuminating the word "BRON". A light then wipes in, revealing the logo to be in a metallic silver color, with part of the top-right bit (most noticeably in the "N") tinted in black.

Variants:

  • There is a prototype version seen on Fences and The Layover, where the background is a little bit brighter and the light wipes in from the bottom. The logo also shines.
  • On The Mule (2018), the animation happens differently.
  • On The Front Runner, the logo appears in an 80's-like style.
  • On Roman J. Israel, Esq. and Beatriz at Dinner, we see the print logo in white.
  • On Candyman (2021), the logo is mirrored alongside the Universal Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Monkeypaw Productions logos, to reference the saying of Candyman's name into a mirror five times.
  • On Ghostbusters: Afterlife, as the light wipes in thunderclouds fade in the background. The logo disappears as the lightning strikes, continuing over the Ghost Corps logo.
  • At the end of The Nightingale, we see the same print logo in white again, but with the stacked words "FINANCED IN ASSOCIATION WITH BRON CREATIVE" above.
  • At the end of Joker, the logo is still.

FX/SFX: CGI.

Music/Sounds: Usually the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Common, and it's more used than the last logo. This logo first appeared (albeit in prototype) on the two titles mentioned above. The more standard version first appeared on Drunk Parents and has been used ever since. It does not appear on The Spy Who Dumped Me, A Simple Favor or Chaos Walking (despite them being credited as Hercules Bron Creative Partnership). This also strangely doesn't appear at the beginning of The Willoughbys on Netflix for some reason, although they are credited (through the studio's own animation division).
