Bandai Namco Entertainment (also known as "Bandai Namco Games" and "Namco Bandai Games") was formed in 2006 after Bandai Co., Ltd. and Namco Ltd. merged. The original companies still do exist as two separate companies, but the merged brand is used for video game publishing, especially for it's own games.

Bandai Namco Games logo

Logo: On a background (usually white), a red spaceship-like triangle appears, being covered by a yellow circle, with the words "BANDAI" and "NAMCO" inside them, in white, and stacked. Below this is the word "Games", also in red.

  • On Tekken Tag Tournament 2, as well as trailers for it, the logo is seen as normal, but after a few seconds, the camera zooms in as Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama (characters from the game) step on the logo and throw punches at each other (in slow motion). As they do this, the camera zooms out.
  • On some recent games released in the 2010s, such as Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun!, the word "Games" is replaced by "Entertainment", also in red.

FX/SFX: The fade-in and fade-out.

Cheesy Factor: The logo looks a little bit too simple.

Music/Sounds: None. This logo is silent.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • Pac-Man World Rally: The music from Namco's 7th logo plays.
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2: A loud thud for when Kazuya and Jin step on the logo, as well as a long whooshing sound for when they both are throwing their slow motion punches.

Availability: Common. It precedes the Namco and Bandai logos on all of their games that were released since 2006 (as in Tekken and Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, where both this and the Namco logo are used). It is widely used across Europe and North America.

Scare Factor: Depending on the variant:

  • Pac-Man World Rally: Minimal, due to the music.
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Low, as Kazuya and Jin's sudden appearance can catch some off guard.
  • None for the silent version.
