The channel first launched on September 9, 1975.
Efir 2[]
1992–1993[]
On June 1, 1992, the channel was renamed to Efir 2.
1993–2000[]
In October 1993, a new logo & package was unveiled for the channel, which would be used until May 2000. On June 1, 2000 the frequencies were replaced by BTV.

BNT 2[]
2011–2018[]
On October 16, 2011 at 12:30pm, the channel started rebroadcasting after 11 years off air.

2018–present[]
On September 10, 2018, BNT 2 & its sister channels were given a new branding.
