Logo: On a black background, we see a circle containing a picture of the hills and mountains of Aspen, Colorado with a white circle border and underneath it the words "Aspen Film Society" in a Optima font. The logo is surrounded by a white border.
Variant: A black and white variant appears on Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid.
FX/SFX: None.

2nd Logo
(June 3, 1983-August 9, 1985; March 4, 1988-September 15, 1989)
Nickname: "The Lake II"
Logo: On a black background, we see the previous logo zooming out minus the white circle border. It zooms out further into a rectangle, and after it stops, the words "Aspen Film Society" in a Goudy Old Style font fade in below the circle. The logo is surrounded by a yellow rectangle border.
Variant: From 1988 onward, the logo instead zooms out onto a filmstrip that shines and shifts off to the left. The text is now in a periwinkle color and, on Pulse, has a byline reading "A Division of WILLIAM E McEUEN PRODUCTIONS."
FX/SFX: The zoom out.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the movie on the first variant. None on the second variant.
Availability: The first variant appears on The Man with Two Brains and Pee-wee's Big Adventure, while the second variant appears on the sci-fi/horror film Pulse and The Big Picture.
