1st Logo (September 25, 1999-March 12, 2002)

Logo: On a grey background, we see the name "Apatow" written in an ink splattered type font. Underneath the name is PRODUCTIONS in a small font.

Variant: Sometimes the words In Association with fades in on top of the logo.

FX/SFX: NoneMusic/Sounds: The music Western-Country or the ending theme of show.

Availabilty: Rare. Seen on the NBC series Freaks and Geeks and the Fox series Undeclared. The long version appeared on North Hollywood.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo (September 2, 2003-August 6, 2008)

Logo: On a black background, we see this:

APATOWPRODUCTIONSin a Roadkill-type font. There is a yellow line that separates those two words, 

Variant: The logo is entirely white on a black background.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen at the end of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky BobbySuperbadStep Brothers, and Pineapple Express. It debuted in Sick in the Head.

3rd Logo (June 19, 2009-September 7, 2013)

Logo: On a black background, there is a child-like drawing of a man laying with his arms spread out wide. Next to him are two drawn hearts, one more curvier than the other. Above those hearts are the handwritten words "APAtow Prod". The drawing is done in white.


Music/Sounds: Same as the 2nd logo.Availability: Seen at the end of Get Him to the GreekBridesmaids, the HBO series GirlsThe Five-Year Engagement, and This is 40, among others. However, the print movie posters and DVD covers uses the 2nd logo. It debuted in Year One.

5th Logo (December 18, 2013-)

Logo: We see a praying mantis on a white background. Then the words APATOW PRODUCTIONS fades in.

FX/SFX: Mostly Live-Action.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Brand new. First seen on Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

Scare Factor: None. It might not sit well with some people who don't like grasshoppers but it's mostly a simple and harmless logo.
