Background: Akil Productions is the production company of television writer, producers, and husband-and-wife duo Salim & Mara Brock Akil that was founded in 2000. It was first known as "Happy Camper Productions" from 2000 to 2008. They didn't use a logo until season 2 of Girlfriends premiered.

Nickname: "The Double Link-Lock"
Logo: On a white background, a symbol with a circle with 4 lines on its connection points rotates 90 degrees to the right and the hole in the symbol splits while the text "AKILPRODUCTIONS" fades in. The background turns black, the symbol turns silver and raises up a little bit, and the text turns white.
FX/SFX: The symbol rotating and raising. the background fading.
Music/Sounds:
- October 3, 2008-May 15, 2009: The same music from the Happy Camper Productions logo from 2001.
- January 11-March 29, 2011: It was silent
- January 10, 2012-: A piano theme was used.
