Background[]
Originally called RTV (Rediffusion television), the channel is a HK television station which cames before the TVB. This formerly, it's called as "Asia Television".
1st Logo (1982-1989)[]
Logo: We see a imagery of downtown Hong Kong at night (simillar to a view of Downtown Orlando and view of Shanghai), the image then zooms out and then disappear to we first see a map of China and asia, As it does, a star then forms a golden ring (like in the KUED and Hanna Barbera Home Video logo) and a another thin ring, which follow it, and then a red ring which is closer zooming in, but with a cutted star (a ATV logo) forms to the globe, Then it make room for the ATV, which then zooms out and in with a trailling effect.
Variant: There is a Chinese version.
FX/SFX: The golden ring forming, the star shooting.
Music/Sounds: A majestic and happy fanfare, which track came a other library. Then the male singing, or none, and then the annoucer says"ATV" or the Chinese annoucer.
Availability: Probably extinct. Such as ATV Home and ATV World, it was used as a local ID.

2nd logo (1994)[]
Logo: A natural landscape footage happens on a backdrop, which then get sucks by "ripple" effect, then transitions to another landscape background containing a Windows XP like wallpaper. The 1989 logo "rises" from the wallpaper, which then finishes.
FX/SFX: The ripples.
Music/Sounds: An African/Hawaiian sounding like natural music, followed by the annoucer saying "Asia TV Hong Kong".
Availability: Extinct.
