Closing Logo Group

Background: Pearce & O'Grady Entertainment was an Argentinian company that was formed by Beatriz Margarita O'Grady, who was the president of the company on February 4, 1991, and assembled the Apex Theatrical-Video-Television publisher. It handled video releases of low-budget movies. It was quietly defunct in the mid 1990s.

(1991-Mid 1990s?)[]

Logo: On a space background, we see an image of stylized triangles with a 3D shadowy lining effect that represented the word "A". Below it was "APEX" in a white font, and underneath is the blue word "PEARCE & O'GRADY ENTERTAINMENT" in a blue serif font. The word "Presenta" in a pink Brush Script font. The image then zooms out with a border, flipping from the top right to the top left, then to the bottom left and right, and then zooms in to see the logo again in fullscreen.

FX/SFX: Simple tacky zooming and flipping effects.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic theme with a choir and xylophone notes, and then a triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on APEX VHS releases from the era.
