1st Logo (1981?-1989?)[]
Logo: On a blue background, there is the white text "3-G" in an ugly font. In the middle, there are lines (a la the CBS-FOX logo) and at the top, are 2 diagonal pointing ends. Below it is "H O M E V I D E O" in the same font as the above text and below that is a triangle-like object, making the logo look like a triangle.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: The opening music of the program.
Availability: Extremely rare. This appears on some earlier tapes from the company.
2nd Logo (1989?-1992?)[]
WARNING: THE VIDEO IS VERY LOUD, SO LOWER THE VOLUME BEFORE WATCHING IT.
Logo: In a dark background, a triangular shape flashes down from blue from the upper right portion of the screen to the center of the screen where the blue fades away, leaving the same logo from before but in black with blue outlines and the font is more straight. This is then followed by a screen with a blue "PRESENTS".
Variant: Sometimes, it was seen on a black-gray gradient background.
FX/SFX: The trailing effect.
Music/Sounds: A white noise swooping up and down with an overdrive/distortion effect. The background version had it silent.
Availability: Extremely rare. Many of their releases are out-of-print and hard to find. Only appeared on some VHS releases of Popeye, Looney Tunes (Porky Pig and Tweety Bird cartoons), Woody Woodpecker and (possibly) Gulliver's Travels.
Editor's Note: This logo is rather infamous for scaring many people because of its very loud whoosh, dark color scheme, and menacing logo design.
3rd Logo (1992-1998)[]
Logo: On a black starry space background, 3-D pieces of the 3-G logo fly in from the screen (with tops and bottoms blue and the fronts a speckled gold color) and form together with the cut triangle coming in from the bottom. After this, "HOME VIDEO" rises from the triangle. The logo revolves once and slowly eases towards the screen after which "PRESENTS" flashes itself in as the space background zooms back revealing it to be inside a blue bordered square.
FX/SFX: CGI.
Music/Sounds: A synth new-age space theme.
Availability: Ultra rare. Appears on Babysitter Cartoon Bonanza Volume 3 on VHS and should be seen on other tapes.
